Google Submit Is A Waste Of Time
Many website owners want to increase the traffic to their sites, and so they submit their sites to search engines like Google. These search engines promise to post the website on their result pages, so that those who use the search engine will see a link to the smaller website displayed along with the information they were searching for. It seems logical enough, so why wouldn’t an aspiring young site owner submit their site to Google?
Because Google Submit is a waste of time. It’s not that the program is faulty, or that the idea isn’t a pretty good one; it just takes far too long. I mean, let’s face it – I’m a reasonably smart individual, so I figure that if I submit my site to a major search engine like Google, my site will be viewed more frequently, and by more people.

Unfortunately for me, I’m not the only reasonably smart site owner out there. When everybody’s submitting their sites to Google, Google has two choices: either spam their entire search page with nothing but links to external sites, or pick and choose. Google picks and chooses – meaning my site is going to take a very long time to start appearing on Google’s site.
For site owners, it may be more productive to try making money with Google AdSense. AdSense is a program that pays you for posting ads on your own website, essentially putting you in the place of Google – getting paid to allow other sites to advertise with you. Google will allow you to choose topics and keywords, then post the ads that are most relevant to your site. This means that every time someone visits your site, the ads they’ll see on your sidebar have something to do with your website. It also means that every time your viewers click one of those ads, you get a little cash for it. It’s a much faster, easier way to make money online.
