Why You Should Own a Longline Bra
First, what is a longline bra? It is a type of brassiere that has much more coverage down your torso, to around the belly button area. In many ways, it is like a less formal corset. These types of bras used to be very popular (think early to mid twentieth century or earlier) but this is no longer the case. Since a long line bra covers more of the body, it provides extra support for the upper body and breasts. Over the course of a 12+ hour day, this can make a big difference in comfort levels. Of course, you would need to buy a long line bra with a comfortable material and not a formal, underwire-heavy model.
A last reason is just fun – lingerie long line bras are still relatively popular since they are different. Many men love that tradition full body bra when it is lingerie style. There is definitely and added element of sexiness and fun because it is not the same old Victoria’s Secret lingerie you see plastered everywhere.
Overall, while the longline bra probably will not get back to the mainstream popularity it once enjoyed as an everyday-bra, it can be a great utilty bra in certain cases as well as something sexy and fun. Do yourself a favor and try one out, you may be surprised!
