Should I Live In America Or England?

I’m an English man. I’ve been brought up here most of my life, and have always been in love with everything British. I pride myself on being ‘typically British, waking up to a cup of tea every morning and talking about the weather a lot. I’ve always seen myself spending the rest of my life here, it was all I knew after all.

Recently however, I had the privilege of going away to America for a holiday break. I’ve always heard people saying they want to move to America and go there to live, but I’ve never much saw the appeal for this. That is until I went for myself.

I went as part of a group holiday. My best friend was going to propose to his girlfriend there, and me and the wife thought we’d tag along for the ride. As soon as we got there there was one thing that hit me: The heat. It was so much warmer then what I was used to in England, and was quite a welcome change from the blistering cold of the winter time.

There are so many other things I enjoyed about being in America too. Due to a lot of tax differences everything was a lot cheaper. I also enjoyed a lot of the scenery, although the scenery in England can be quite amazing too.

After this trip is has put a slight doubt in my mind about where I can see myself growing old. Both places are great and have their pros and cons, but as of yet I’m undecided.

So what do you think guys, should I settle in America where I can get a good single cup coffee maker, in in England where I can find the top tea maker and have the best cup of tea of my life? Let me know in the comments.
