How to Get Rid of a Tattoo

If you have a bad tattoo you no longer want, there are definitely options available for removing it permanently. However, not all tattoo removal options are created equal. Some of them work better than others, some of them are more prone to leave scars than others, and depending on the technique, you could spend a hundred dollars or a couple thousand. But if you want something that works, you might have little choice but to spend the big bucks.

The use of lasers to remove a tattoo is well known as it is the most widespread and readily available service in most areas for removing a tattoo. While it does hurt, and costs one hundred or more dollars per session, usually after half a dozen to a dozen sessions that tattoo is truly gone. The same is true for a technique known as rejuvi, usually referred to as rejuvi tattoo cream in this context, since it’s also used for basic skin care too. Rejuvi is another professional tattoo removal method, costs about the same as laser tattoo, is painful to have done, but it works.

The same cannot be said for the cheaper removal methods. Things like TCA and tattoo removal cream might not hurt as much, might not cost (nearly) as much, but at the same time, there reliability is seriously in question. While a cheaply made tattoo might be removed after months of applying these tattoo removal cream products, I wouldn’t hold your breath on that one.

If you have a tattoo you don’t want, and the money to get rid of it, stick with the what works: laser tattoo removal and rejuvi tattoo. Otherwise, you are likely to end up spending money on something that promises a lot of great things insofar as removing a tattoo, but without the science to back up any of its claims.
